BMW is one of the biggest names in the automobile industry and has remained at the helm for decades. The company not only produces some of the most sensational cars but also has a huge aspirational value, especially in the developing markets like India. The company just like some of the other big brands, including Mercedes Benz and Audi, has released a lot of luxury cars within the bracket of Rs.50lacs. However the M Series models happen to fall in a slightly higher bracket. We have shortlisted the best M Series models from BMW that have received critical and popular reviews.

1.       BMW X5 M
BMW X5 M is a top-end SUV from the British automobile manufacturers that looks wonderful from all sides. The side profile of the car is beautiful which is accentuated with the help of the alloy wheels. The front grille and the muscular stance add more flavor to the overall appearance of the car. Dimensionally the SUV comes with a length of 4880mm, a width of 2184mm and a height of 1754mm.

Under the hood the SUV comes loaded with a 4395cc Petrol engine that carves away 575bhp power at 6000 to 6500rpm whereas torque that can be twisted away is 750Nm at 2200 to 5000rpm. The engine is supported by 8 cylinders of four valve each. Mated to an 8 speed automatic transmission system, BMW X5 M works with an All-Wheel Drive setup.  The SUV also has some serious pace behind it as it can go from 0 to 100kmph in just 4.2 seconds whereas the top speed for the car is 250kmph. Mileage is a bit low as expected for a car of such range with 6kmpl for cities and 9kmpl for highways.

2.       BMW M3
Next up on our list is the BMW M3 that happens to be one of the best looking coupe its class. The blend of elegance and muscularity in this car is just perfect. The side profile is bolstered by some strong character lines. Underneath the coupe is backed by a strong engine that has a displacement of 2979cc underneath with 6 cylinders of 4 valves each. Power generated by the car is 431bhp at 5500 to 7300rpm whereas torque carved away is 1850 to 5500rpm. The engine works with a 7 speed automatic transmission system and is complemented by a rear wheel drive setup.

3 BMW M4 Coupe
Another Coupe on the list is the BMW M4. The vehicle is priced quite high like most models from the M series. However customers can go for a used BMW M Series in India so as to bring down their purchasing price down. In terms of specs though the coupe is at par with anything we have seen in this class. With spectacular looks like all of its counterparts, M4 Coupe has a strong set of specs including the 2979cc engine that generates 431bhp power and 550Nm torque.
